The backstage default import function works fine under OSX. As I think everyone is aware, it is cumbersome compared to ImportTiddlersPlugin. It will tell you whether a tiddler in another TW already exists on the importing TW. That's it. I find it interesting that under OSX the default import function will read the tiddlers in a TW while ImportTiddlersPlugin will not.
