This is a "scaring" behaviour and definitely shouldn't happen.

So which plugins do you use? TW doesn't have a built in revision system. So 
I'm pretty sure that eiteher 1 of you plugins or the combination of several 
plugins cause the problem. 
 
BACKUP FIRST

1 - You can try to disable all your plugins, and 
2 - See if the problem still happens. 
3 - Then activate the plugins 1 by 1. 
4 - Page reload will be needed for most of them
5 - Go to 2
