Hi Ed, There are some usecases for data-tiddlers. Eg:
- If you want to log some actions. So if you have "timeline-like" data - Configuration tiddlers - Functions, where it is important to keep values together The biggest disadvantage for data-tiddlers is, that if you add / change or remove a value from a data-tiddler all *visible* tiddlers that have a connection to this tiddler need to be updated, even if the index, that is changed doesn't correspond to those tiddlers. .. So there is a potential for a performance hit, if it's done wrong. This said. I did create a plugin https://wikilabs.github.io/editions/keyvalues/ that may allow you a more flexible access of keys and values at the same time. Using it myself, I did realize, that there is still some room for improvement.
