Single file wikis work well on a php host using tw-receiver and you can 
also host and save to wikis on github (perhaps not for private use).

I dream of a hosted bob server on the internet to produce as many of my own 
online wikis with tiddlers that can be locked to stop contention but all 
this ngix talk scares me because it seems like a rabbit hole.
