Hey Mike, I like the new color scheme for the books. The only thing I would add is a way for a user to see all of the books in a single table. (Am I missing something?)
I am trying my hand at writing a manual for TW. Something more extensive than the existing documents and more integrated than the tiddlywiki.org. I think your Cigar database is an excellent example of what a TW database can be like. It's exotic - that makes it appeal to the imagination, and its simple - that makes it a great basic example. I hope you keep the site online so that I can link to it from my manual (if you don't mind).
