Have a look at showWhen [1] macro

<div macro="showWhen config.options.chkYourStuff">
  <div class='tagging' macro='tagging'></div>
  <div class='tagged' macro='tags'></div>
</div> .

And somewhere you need "show tags <<option chkYourStuff>>"
and a refresh!

did not test it. but should look that way
