What is this revision number? Is it changecount or server.page.revision?
The changecount simply allows TiddlyWiki to determine which tiddlers have been changed locally, while server.page.revision is the revision number on the server.
Plugin territory? Explain yourself.
As in, that functionality should be provided by a plugin rather than the TiddlyWiki core. Your ideas are worth exploring, which might lead to them ending up in the core eventually, once they're proven.
