Skye, This might be a stretch but could you use http://remotely-helpful.com/TiddlyWiki/TiddlerEncryptionPlugin.html#TiddlerEncryptionPlugin and/or http://gitorious.org/tiddlywiki-blowfish-encryption to encrypt the tiddlers THEN move them and decrypt them after the move? Maybe LoadTiddlersPlugin can digest that kind of content without corruption.
