For some reason the term transient sliders springs to mind. I think that's what they're called. Anyway, the functionality this gives is two fold. It will expand the slider I want and close the others in the menu. It will also close all sliders in the menu after a certain time (maybe a few seconds) period of inactivity which was a cool side-effect I had not expected.
