I'm trying to use CookieManagerPlugin to get rid of the cookie prompts in Firefox 3 (which doesn't store cookie exceptions for local files[1])
After importing the CookieManagerPlugin and it's config from tiddlytools.com, I uncheck "Enable" under browser cookies in the cookie manager screen, and "bake" all cookies. I then save and refresh, and it's still asking for cookies, and the "enable" box is checked again. Just to be sure, I tried this in a completely empty TiddlyWiki on a fresh Firefox profile (firefox 3.6.3). I tried hardcoding a "config.options["chkAllowBrowserCookies"]=false; " in the CookieJar, but it still shows browser cookies as enabled after the next save and reload. I'm just trying to reduce the number of cookie prompts I get, if I can't get rid of them. I do not want to set my browser to accept all cookies. Am I looking in the wrong direction?
