yes that works - would be good if the link opened in another tab
automatically though.
I was wondering how i might get the status indicator to refresh.

Can you include js in between <html> tags </html> in tiddlers?
I tried this, and skype told me i was not online.  However, this might be a
default setting: not everyone wants to call themselves, even if just
testing.
