Actually the danish (and swedish and norwegian) letter Å or å hasn't
got an accent in it... It's a letter in it's own right. It should look
like the letter 'a' with a small ring hovering very slightly above it,

On the other hand I'm thrilled that you actually bother to try to
compose it from a letter and an accent :-)
