Hi Brad, I did test to load EasyEdit, which is easier, because no external editor is needed. I suggest you try EasyEdit first. And then go on with FCKeditor.

It needs to be systemConfig .. see the capital C in there. It is case sensitive. > Here is scenario. I want to run a real editor to post my wikis. Trying > with FCKeditor. > 1. Good, this is exactly what the description "step: 1" at: http://visualtw.ouvaton.org/VisualTW.html#FCKeditorPlugin says. Step 2 says: Import FCKEditorPlugin from visualtw site. > 3. I load up my tiddlywiki > 4. click on "import" and click browse to search in the fckedit folder > for the necessary file nope. use "Enter the URL or pathname here:" with the following link. http://visualtw.ouvaton.org/VisualTW.html [open] You'll get a long list. Select: - FCKeditorPlugin and - MarkupPreHead and - EditHtmlTemplate (seems, that is needed too). and import. follow the rest of the documentation at visualTW. The path info is needed 2 times. MarkupPostHead and the confi section at FCKeditorPlugin. double check the settings! === Editing the ToolbarCommand tiddler, which needs to be changed for FCKeditorPlugin and EasyEditPlugin. On the right Index >> menue, select Tab >> More >> Shad Open the ToolbarCommands tiddler. Should contain this |~ViewToolbar|closeTiddler closeOthers +editTiddler ... change to |~ViewToolbar|easyEdit closeTiddler closeOthers +editTiddler ... ^^^^^^ press the "write" button to edit or |~ViewToolbar|editHTML closeTiddler closeOthers +editTiddler ... ^^^^^^ press the "wysiwyg" button to edit == ignored == > 5. As I started to work with TW I also had some frustrating moments. But if you take the learning curve, which TW has, it is one of the most flexible, configurable, powerful .... tools that you can work with. have fun! q;-) Mario -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
