Hm. Seems to me compiling to an exe would not allow for saving changes to tiddlers.
I use the hta method for quite some time. I eventually went back to firefox (using prism to get a standalone app feel). I don't remember the exact reason, but it was some feature/plugin I wanted to use in TW that didn't work under IE/HTA... rounded buttons with QuickEdit I think. Anyway, knowing how TW saves a new copy of itself when saving changes, your best best is probably a portable browser. http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable You've now got me wanting to look for a way to make Prism apps portable. :) Promising leads: http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla-labs-prism/browse_thread/thread/b60ff86c51482348 http://productivegeek.com/forums/topic/make-mozilla-prism-portable If I can find more time, I'll see what I can come up with!
