Hi all, As the title says, I'm using Eric's EditField plugin on some custom fields. Particularly like the idea of Summary Tiddler:
"The plugin also adds support for an optional 'remote field reference' syntax: "fieldn...@tiddlername" so you can display and edit fields stored in other tiddlers. This allows you to create, for example, 'summary' tiddlers for reviewing/editing field values from several tiddlers at the same time." Something that upset me is the prompt that appears whenever I click somewhere outside the edit box. When I use <<edit custom_field>>, I can press ENTER to save the content. But this seems doesn't work with <<edit custom_field 5>>. I must click OK to save the content every time. There's another issue there. I'd love to edit three fields at a time and save them all together, and have the result rendered immediately. So I put: =====Tiddler X================= English: <<view content_en>> Japanese: <<view content_jp>> +++[Edit Contents] <<edit content_en 15>> <<edit content_jp 15>> === ============================= To make things look better, I hide the fields using NestedTiddler. So whenever I click Edit Contents, I can edit only one field, then click OK to save. As the the tiddler is refreshed, I need to click Edit Contents again to edit another field. Is it possible to make EditField plugin work like FormTiddler plugin (Save multiple fields without prompting) Custom fields is much easier to use as it doesn't require a HTML form template to work. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
