Re: keeping edits of SiteTitle and removing rootTree tag from Dad tiddler. I originally created the tree using Firefox portable on a PC. I get the same results with Firefox on mac too. (both are latest versions). Making Dad tiddler public solved that part of the problem. With the SiteTitle and subTitle they are public already, if I change them, save changes and close the tiddlers it holds the information. But as soon as I log out it says there are unsaved changes that will be lost (even though the tiddlers are now closed!). Putting birth dates on tiddler titles with the same name is a great idea, I will try it. Having extra fields for baptisms and burials would be a nice addition.
