> To summarize: calculations in a tiddler vs. local excel file. I have seen some simple calculations done in TW tables. But don't find the links at the moment. Also fET working together with forms, may be a possibility here. But will need some programming. Some fET experts may jump in here. But if you need more complex formulas to calculate something, and the enduser needs to edit them, I'd go for a way to implement google docs spreadsheet as an iframe into a tiddler. Which needs online connection and will store data in the cloud. If this is not possible, I'd go for the external editor solution. I know, that's not nice, but on the other hand, your solution, will allways be compared to Excel. > Since I am a moderate user I don't know how impossible this is:) Just some thoughts: If you have an Excel programmer, it may be possible, to create a CVS export file, if the Excel file is saved. This CVS file could be imported into a tiddler. CVS export will be possible too. I haven't done this yet, so here is some space for export/import experts :) -m -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
