I also have that - this allows me to access the file locally, and then save it to the remote website. It also enables me to visit the remote website and save a fresh copy of the file and edit that (possibly from another computer). The thing is that tiddlyspot is a little more seamless - I can go directly to my tiddlyspot wiki and edit it there and then, the backstage bar appears and I'm allowed to save locally or upload.
