You amazing guys. You are getting close. It appears to me that
tagmindmapmove is a proof-of-concept implementation, and the
beginnings of a complete code base for mind maps.
The graphic presentation is still problematic. It doesn't invite
browsing (for me). Can you rob from the Hypergraph project?
I'm going to brainstorm a bit now, but please don't imagine I think
these are trivial programming goals. You guys are about to grab the
prize of the ages. We would have had it ten years ago if it were easy
to develop.
What if each tiddler double-folded down to a small icon, and then was
movable object -- graphically joined to others?
My dream spec would go on to these points:
* Different lines for different joins
1. tag
2. link
* App can be toggled for these settings:
1. tags only serve as joins
2. links only serve as joins
3. both are joins, but tags bind strongly
4. ... ditto ... links bind strongly
* Easy control of how far out links extend from the immediate center.
