Hi @Eric (TiddlyTools.com) First of all, PasteUpPlugin is a fantastic plugin. It unleashes soo many new possiblities, not available before. Thank you very much for developing it!! EdtitSectionPlugin and PasteUpPlugin are my favourite plugins at the moment and I try to make them work in any context I possible can.
Requests: 1) When you click the "add part..." toolbar a dialog appears where you can specify a tiddlername or a tiddler##section name or even a section in the active tiddler - either by writing "##section" or "tiddlername##section". If you create a lot of new tiddlers from your pasteUp document it would be nice if they were tagged with the pasteUp document's title or if you could add tags on the fly. I'd love if it was an option in the PasteUpConfig tiddler... 2) There is sth "buggy" going on when you create a section in the active tiddler, add an image and set the text to appear in the background!! It seems to work, however if you click to edit again the text is gone and replaced with /% and the chckbox for putting the image in the background is unticked.... This doesn't happen when you create new tiddlers for your images... 3) You can only use 1 image from your imagelist in a section in the current tiddler. All images are created with the same name "image" and the text has one name only "content".... If you want to use many images and different text, like creating a lot of StickyNotes in one tiddler, then it doesn't suffice.. examples: http://stickypasta.tiddlyspace.com/ and http://klasser.tiddlyspace.com/ (you maybe have to click the doublearrow refresh button to see content - don't know...) It would be very nice if previously created image-slices and corresponding content was renamed to allow for several images with text in the same tiddler!! 4) Maybe this last request isn't just pointed at you but also at the TiddlySpacedeveloppers... Many of your plugins: MoveablePanelPlugin, EditSectionPlugin and PasteUpPlugin etc - don't work as intended on TiddlySpace... I found out that when your plugins create new tiddlers, they cannot be recognized by TiddlySpace and consequently you cannot save or delete them... This goes for all the Plugins I've mentioned here. I recon that a developer could provide some kind of an adaptor to translate how TiddlySpace understands the way your plugins write new tiddlers, so that you/we wouldn't have to rewrite every single plugin to make them work with TiddlySpace?? Also, when a TiddlySpace is set to autosave - your plugins don't autosave.... maybe there should be some levelling on these matters? Thanks again Eric for your outstanding plugins. I really wish that I could use them on TiddlySpace as well, however I understand if you're not interested in maintaining two pluginrepositories, one for TiddlySpace users and another one for everyone else :-) Another thing is - that I'm sure a TiddlyWeb installation could provide a perfect archive for TiddlyTools, where all your quickstartdocuments would be automatically upgraded and updated because of the tiddler/bag structure...
