Take a look at Eric Shulman's web site -- his plugins are arguably the most popular.
http://www.tiddlytools.com/ Every decade or so I take some time to survey various information manager programs. One aspect not often considered in reviews is that of continuity. The key to continuity, in turn, is the business model of the product. Pure open source projects, especially single-developer projects, seem to falter after awhile. The web is littered with the remains of once-popular information managers whose developers lost interest. On the flip side, some products with a traditional sale/lease model survive, but price themselves out of widespread acceptance. This is especially true since the entire category lacks the recognition and standardization of familiar software such as spreadsheets and word- processors. So...that said...what's the perceived business model of KNote? Is the game plan to develop it into a fully commercial product? Or to use it as a tool for custom solutions? Or?
