Okay, I got it now! What was unclear at first was that the tiddler holding the script needed to be called "ShowReferences." I now understand how its working... The embedded tiddler call calls the tiddler, the script is activated upon calling the tiddler. Theoretically, I could keep both versios by naming them differently and calling them accordingly.
