For myself, I rather dislike any date form other than MMM DD, YYYY -
DDD.

However, I suspect / am concerned that changing the timeline format to
this will break many other things - thus my question. e.g. timeline
date format includes hours - I expect removing the hours will break
the timeline view.

i.e. It feels like there are too few date forms / setting for the vast
range to which dates are made use of. So it feels like changing the
format is likely to break many things - the thought of which causes
more than a little bit of heartburn.

For all I know, in my ignorance, I have no real cause for concern. It
just doesn't feel like it, at the moment.

Thus my question for a good link on dates in tiddlywiki. I'll check
into your link - thank you for listing it.
