Let me take a guess at the problem you're trying to solve: You have a TiddlyWiki stored on your own machine and you think it's silly that you have to store all your images online so that you can access them on your machine.
If *this* is your problem, then consider the solution I use: In the same directory as yourTiddlyWiki.html add a new directory named "images". Stick your figures in there and reference them as follows: [img[images/mySuperCoolPic.jpg]] The draw back to this method is that if you ever want to post your TiddlyWiki online, it won't be able to reach the images stored on your hard drive.
