Greetings all...
I have a 'vision' in mind for enhancing my bibliographic citations and
reference. I'm posting to the list to get a poll of possible light-
weight or most simple solution(s).
Objective is to have a something like a citation, with the "notes..."
text being a hyperlink to a transcluded (section of a) tiddler ...
* "process maps in the 21st century", Nurk F., (2009) notes...
In a place I've called [[refs]] I have something like:
! Nurk F. (2009)
!! Nurk F. (2009) notes
And what I'd like to do is have 'me' click on the "notes..." link and
have the notes transclusion section 'SHOW-n' in situ or as a pop-up
like a tooltip or cartoon bubble to the [notes...] hypertlink.
This is all functionality. Apart from the notion of keeping all notes
in a central place. As a plus-plus enhancement, I'd like to
(sometimes) just link to a specific note among many -- For now I
figure I can 'do' that by adding an explicit 'single use' nuote for
the general solution.
Is there a plug-in or available technology that lets me do something
like this? I've scanned list and discussions. Most of the time it
sound OK but outside my parameters or too tricky, or not general
enough.
Before I leave the topic. One 'extra' is a way to use something like
a transclusion in this way from a 'shared' resources tiddler say for
notes and reference material, by many 'client' tiddler-s. Is that (a)
possible; and (b) can I do the expand/reveal/show thing I just asked
about as well?
Thanks for your time. Nice to hear ideas coming back. Happy Easter.
