You are probably using an older version of the TWCore.  The global
'place' variable was added in TW2.4.3, in response to ticket #444.
You can either upgrade your document to use a newer TWCore (current is
2.6.2), or you can add support for 'place' to your current document by
installing:
   http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#CoreTweaks
   (see Core Tweak #444)
