And as a temporary workaround, I suggest you go back to the most recent stable FF3 (I'm on 3.6.17). If for some reason you want to keep FF4 as well and they conflict with each other, there is a "Portable Firefox" available that is completely self-contained, doesn't write to the local registry, will run off a mobile drive (usb/flash whatever) on any computer.
A bit OT, but I've also had good luck with the Prism plug-in, which is more difficult to get running in true "portable" mode, but makes your TiddlyWiki act like a standalone app with its own window, icon.
