Hi, Rafael —

I encountered a similar fatal error earlier this year on Win7, and it's
happened to me once or twice since then. In my case, the Save is possible
but my TW is overwritten -with a completely empty file. You can read up on
my experience here:

It's very rare and, as far as I can tell, has only happened to me when I've
had multiple TiddlyWikis open at the same time. I suspect it may relate to
a browser thread crashing or hanging up in the background, but that's pure
speculation.

To protect myself, I use Tyler Akins's BackupOptionsPlugin (
http://rumkin.com/tools/tiddlywiki/#BackupOptionsPlugin) to back up my TW
with each save (and overwrite the previous backup, so I don't end up with
tons of backup files). However, I still have to be careful not to allow TW
to save once the error occurs; otherwise, BackupOptionsPlugin would
overwrite the backup with a copy of my emptied TW!

A slightly less-involved possibility: I've noticed that in my browsers of
choice (Maxthon 2 and Maxthon 3), I can save a TW several times without
getting the prompt that normally displays for my first save. But once I
open a tab that displays a non-local web page, the next time I try to save
TW, I get the prompt (and lose my changes since I have to allow saving for
the first time before I'm able to save any changes). Is it possible you
were working in Firefox with only your TW open, then opened another tab,
then encountered the first-time-during-the-session "save" dialog?
(Honestly, I've forgotten how this works in Firefox since I don't use the
'Fox with TW all that often.)
