How many tiddlers a tiddlywiki can handle is an interesting question. I don't think it has ever been rigorously tested but I have seen operational tiddlywikis with 10,000+ tiddlers. The first thing that seems to go with large numbers of tiddlers is the tagging, so some people do disable that feature to speed their TW up.
