I have somewhat of a similar problem. I am using the latest Ubuntu
distribution with FF 6.0.2 and I can't upgrade either. Furthermore I
can't import anything. I always get the error getting tiddler list
message. It doesn't depend on whether I try to import from local file
or web address.

I tested in chromium and it doesn't work either.

Any ideas?
regards,
seba
