I agree, however, there is one use-case were fckEditor is really handy, because it allows to quickly add text from word processors or websites incl. formatting. Just as MediaWikiFormatter allows for MediaWiki content. But I rarely need it and the ckEditor iframe is more than enough for that. Macros could be used with html formatted content too, if HTMLFormattingPlugin of TiddlyTools is installed.
