Thanks Guys for these posts. I was going to wait till I had a chance to try everything that has been suggested before posting a reply. But because there is so much data I thought I'd just write a quick note now to say thanks, and then I'll let you know how I get on later. After reading everything I feel that I have comprehended about 70% of it and I think the rest will fall into place as I apply your tips practically.
Mario: Wow, a lot here, but good stuff, I stayed up late last night going through 12&3 and learned lots. The links are helpful and I even spent time going through MPTW and doing the tutorial. Thanks also for introducing me to Tiddly Tagging, this is powerful stuff. Bauwe: Your post helps to further close the knowledge loop and I'm going to enjoy playing with these suggestions. I think I'll start by working on a copy of 'empty' and making some simple theme changes in a duplicate theme. Eric: Great info! This really adds some high definition resolution to the structure and mechanics of themes. I feel that I have enough information now to have a good play around (but I welcome more).
