I dont see any reason is woulnd't be able to run on OS X... though you
may be right - getting a supported GTk+ to compile it against might be
troublesome.  I don't have a Mac or I'd gladly give it a shot.  Luakit
does indeed use the same webkit that Chrome and Safari use... and
unless you just want a minimal wrapper around webkit, you're probably
better off using one of those two instead.
