"Classic" TiddlyWiki runs on pretty much any browser since around 2004, and the plan is that it will continue alongside TW5. Eric Shulman is taking over as lead developer.
TiddlyWiki5 can also generate classic TW documents from their constituent tiddlers, giving some interesting options for dual publication.
