On my Macs, both running Lion, Firefox 14.0.1 can save changes just fine. Safari 6.0 cannot. I have the latest version of TiddlySaver.jar in the same directory as TJRLogbook.html (my TiddlyWiki). This version of TiddlyWiki is more than a year old. It used to be that when Safari started up (with TJRLogbook.html as home page), I was always prompted to permit the TiddlySaver to run; that no longer happens on either Mac.
I really want to use Safari for TiddlyWiki: 1. I want to keep TJRLogbook.html open on the desktop all the time, and I use Firefox for web browsing. 2. I want to control the browser displaying my logbook via scripts, and Safari is much better at that than Firefox. 3. I could use a separate Firefox profile to display TJRLogbook.html, which would satisfy #1, but I don't think I could control it via a script (I want to be able to force a reload of the page remotely via ssh). Does anybody know how to get Safari to save the file? It stopped working a week or two ago (a week or more apart for the two Macs). This might be related to Mac software updates, I don't know. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
