Earlier today, in hopes of sharing a TiddlyWiki with some friends, I moved the entire thing onto GoogleDrive. It works fine; my friends can see it! One of them has even edited it!!
The problem is that now I can't edit either that wiki, or any of my other wikis that have changed location. I.e., if I make a new copy of a Wiki, I lose the ability to save that wiki. This prevents me from using my EmptyWiki to start a NEW wiki, as well, which is annoying. Similarly! If I move a wiki to another directory without making a copy of it, I lose the ability to save changes to that wiki. Even if I make a copy in the same directory (i.e., EmptyWiki - Copy.html), I lose the ability to save to that wiki. If I change everything back the way it was, so that the wiki has the same file structure, then I can suddenly save changes again! I.e.,if I erase the original wiki and rename the copy to the old name or if I move the wiki files back to their original directory... ...I'm doubtful at this point that GoogleDrive had anything to do with this. But, I also have no idea what the actual problem is, other than it having something to do with File Permissions. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
