Hi Niklas, I'm looking at the same question and so far am guessing that exporting filtered tiddlers to a 'holding' file then importing to a single tiddler may be the method I should to try.
Erics search options and match tags plugins write a list of titles within a single tiddler so there may be a way to have them write contents as well as just the titles. I think the search options plugin works from within the tiddler you're working within so you don't have to close set up your request then resume your work.
