Hello, fellow TW fans!

I've converted a few popular tabletop roleplaying games:

* Fudge RPG: http://fudgerpg.tiddlyspot.com/

* Warrior, Rogue, & Mage: http://wyrm.tiddlyspot.com/

Awesome, RPGers are one of the original groups that breathes life into the
TiddlyWiki community. RPGs make great examples of works that are too
complex to scaffold within a conventional office document.

But I've been having problems uploading updates to Tiddlyspot i.e. it
doesn't work.

What browser and operating system are you using? Do you get any error
messages, or entries in the browsers JavaScript console. As others have
noted there has recently been a tightening of browser security features,
but I wasn't aware of any changes that affect using TiddlySpot.

Looking at TW, I see a lot of progress and upgrades! :D

Suddenly there is quite a lot going on.

Should I:

1. Upgrade to the latest version, 2.6.6.?

Yes, I would recommend doing so. Keep a backup from before the upgrade, and
check carefully that it functions normally after the upgrade.

2. Continue using Tiddlyspot (and what are the remedies), use "TiddlyWiki
in the Sky", or try another option?

If you're happy with it (when we get it working again) then there's no
reason to switch away from it.

If you're happy to use Dropbox then TiddlyWiki in the Sky could be a good
option. It can edit TiddlyWiki documents stored anywhere in your Dropbox
folder, including public folders and files. This means that it can be used
in a similar way to TiddlySpot - visitors can access the wiki using the
ordinary Dropbox public URI, and the owner edits it by visiting
http://dropbox.tiddlywiki.com

Another option is TiddlySpace at http://tiddlyspace.com which is a much
more sophisticated and flexible online host for tiddlers. The advantage of
TiddlySpace is that it makes it easier to share tiddlers between distinct
spaces, so you could, for instance, arrange things to have one space that
contains all the generic gubbins required by your RPGS, and then a separate
space for each RPG to contain its specific data. These latter spaces would
each include the generic gubbins space so that they get those tiddlers
automatically.

Thanks! TiddlyWiki was awesome then and is "awesomer" now! :)

Many thanks for the kind words,

Cheers

Jeremy
