Using an older FireFox browser version *IS* a viable work-around for the current TWClassic file I/O problems. However, this is only one possible *suggested* alternative to installing TiddlyFox (which *fixes* the problems for most use-cases). In addition, the very next bullet item says: -------------------- You could also install a portable version of FireFox 3.6.x directly onto a USB stick, solely for use with TiddlyWiki documents, while still using the current version of FireFox for all your other web browsing activities. -------------------- Thus, it is possible to use an older version of FireFox, while having *NO* impact on other browsing activities. enjoy, -e Eric Shulman TiddlyTools / ELS Design Studios HELP ME TO HELP YOU - MAKE A CONTRIBUTION TO MY "TIP JAR"... http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#Donations Professional TiddlyWiki Consulting Services...
