Hi Jeremy,

I've downloaded a fresh empty.html from tiddlywiki.com.
Same problem.
I click on new tiddler and enter some é,ç,à, ... in the title and in the
text.
When I click done the message box appears with "Main Tiddlywiki file saved
Backup saved".
If I open the backup file, my new tiddler isn't here.
I go back to the main file and click save changes.
This time the backup is fine because it contains my new tiddler, but
corrupted as the non ascii characters are replaced by .
