Hi guys, thanks for the replies. Eric, nice macro, it does the job of visualizing, great.
Now I can see that my question about making tiddler titles orange instead of blue in the night mode is about StyleSheetColors actually. Thanks Tobias for the summary [1], this is quite helpful. TiddlyWiki uses 3-basic-colors palette, so probably making both primary and secondary colors orange will create some conflicts. Screwing the conception of ColorPalette by manual changing SecondaryDark without changing other Secondary colors seems to be a bad idea so I'll better just change the color of tiddler titles "manually", in StyleSheet. Is anybody aware of StyleSheetColors analogues built with 2 basic colors? Probably I'll try this myself. For textareas and input type='text' I added one more suggestion for the core in the parallel thread I accidentaly created [2]. As a quick hack, I put those styles into StyleSheet. I'm not sure about scrollbars. It seems that different browsers has different CSS rules for them, if any. Fortunately, in mobile (AndTidWiki, FireFox for Android) scrollbars a quite tiny. So what we have in terms of understanding: * TiddlyWiki's StyleSheetColors is based on the 3-color palette ** there's the reference by Tobias, which slice is used in which element [1], but not much of understanding how (I mean guidelines) those colors were distributed among the elements * as I understand, 3 basic colors have to contrast one to another (though, without those guidelines that's not clear) * for each of those basic colors, there's 4 "versions" of them (Dark/Mid/Light/Pale) which are gradients from a darker to a paler shade and in terms of tools: * reviewing ColorPalette and setting colors (when they are chosen) can easily be done by the Eric's PaletteMaker * I've seen some tools helping to pick basic colors before, but can't recall any of them * to easily create the shades, Color Blender can be used By the way, Tobias, why a separate space instead of tiddlywiki.org? At least it can be referenced there. Summary of proposals for the core will be posted in TiddlyWikiDev separately. Best regards, Yakov.
