Backup files are just old copies of the TW document, with a timestamp
added to the filename.  Each backup file is a complete copy of the
document.  Unless you need a comprehensive 'audit trail' of every
change to the document, you can simply delete a bunch of the older
backup files to make room for newer ones.  You can also set the
<<option txtBackupFolder>> value so that backups are placed in a
subdirectory, so they don't clutter up the working directory.
