I'm coming in way late to this discussion, and know a lot less than others on this, but I wonder 1) can you switch browsers - chome (portable or not) or safari maybe - either for your tw -or- for your browsing throughout the day? 2) can you use an older version of portable firefox just for your tw? 3) 13mb might be ok... but that seems large ... can you shrink it? 4) are you using portable firefox from a flash drive, and saving the tw to the flash drive? it's a long shot, but can you change to a newer flash drive?
