1) As of v17, FireFox has removed "privileged" file I/O functions. In order to restore file I/O ability for TiddlyWiki, you need to install this FireFox brower plugin, written by Jeremy: https://github.com/TiddlyWiki/TiddlyFox/blob/master/tiddlyfox.xpi 2) You don't need empty.html for file saving. Empty.html is simply an empty TiddlyWiki for you to copy and rename when starting a new TW document. 3) TiddlySaver.jar is not used by FireFox (or IE). It provides file I/ O functions for Chrome, Opera, Safari (and other WebKit-based browers). If you are exclusively using FireFox, you don't need the .jar file. Note: TiddlySaver.jar is a *java* applet that can access your filesystem, which may raise security issues for your installation, especially if you are working in an IT-managed company environment. enjoy, -e Eric Shulman TiddlyTools / ELS Design Studios HELP ME TO HELP YOU - MAKE A CONTRIBUTION TO MY "TIP JAR"... http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#Donations Professional TiddlyWiki Consulting Services...
