Sorry for the late reply. Arc is right. Everything, which worked with the 
"file access library" in "older" browsers causes trouble at the moment. 

As you did provide links to "issue topics" I thought, you did find the 
"answers" yourself. At the moment, most file handling issues are not 
solved. 

Browser vendors are implementing new file handling APIs that are more 
restricted and don't fit well to our needs. Eric has found (and fixed) some 
issues with the TW update / import problems but there seems to be no real 
solutions for the plugins you mentioned. (See latest tiddlywiki.com release 
notes). 

The latest tiddlywiki github repo has some commits [3] that try to target 
some more issues.

I'm using TiddlyWeb (at home) [1] and TiddlySpace, so I don't need to deal 
with these problems. I'm using the TiddlySpace bookmarks plugin [2], which 
is similar to TiddlySnip (but in the cloud).
