Hi Mark I zipped up & downloaded my TWHome folder - opened it in my windows PC and > searched all the tiddlers for occurences of my former domain name - > replacing that with the corrected domain name. > Saved it locally, re-zipped & then uploaded it to the new hosting. > > It went all screwy !!! >
When you initiate the TiddlyHome service, it writes a configfile: config.php (to /_th/lib/config.php) and 3 hidden files ( to /_th/admin/): .htaccess, .htgroup and .htpasswd. Maybe all you have to do is to change the URLs in the configfile (/_th/lib/config.php) plus the second slice (UploadStoreUrl: http://domaine.com/TiddlyHomeDir/sitename/store.php<UploadStoreUrl:http://domaine.com/TiddlyHomeDir/sitename/store.php>)of the shadow tiddler: *HomeParameters* in every TW you've already created..?? I have initiated the TiddlyHome service all over again every time I've moved it to a new domaine - in the past.. I deleted the three hidden files *and* the config file. Copied old TWs to disk and deleted their directories in the TiddlyHome root directory. Then I initiated the service again... Then I created new sites/TWs and imported tiddlers from the old TWs on disk. If it could be done just by editing the config.php file and the HomeParameters tiddler - that would be great :-) Please try it out - and do tell if it works..
