ImportTiddlersPlugin like the FileDropPlugin use "netscape.security.PrivilegeManager" An old security bypassing feature which was deactivated in modern Firefox because it it affectingly nulls out any real security.
It is possible to reactivate it even in the modern nightly builds of Firefox however you should only do so if you really need it and even than preferably only when using a portable version of Firefox for use with trusted projects and sites only. For normal web browsing you shouldn't use a browser that supports the "netscape.security.PrivilegeManager" feature. a importing plugin that doesn't use the "netscape.security.PrivilegeManager" feature can be found: http://repository.tiddlyspace.com/TiddlyFileImportr On Tuesday, July 30, 2013 1:48:27 PM UTC-7, okido wrote: > > Hi Eric, > > I think this is a netscape.security..... issue that is introduced since > FF17, I upgraded from FF14 to FF22. > Workaround is to type in the required path with file name. > My quick fix would be to use the html5 input button for file picking, will > give it a try later this week, only for files in the same dir. > > Okido > > > Op maandag 29 juli 2013 20:58:09 UTC+2 schreef okido het volgende: >> >> @Eric, >> >> On Linux 11.4 and TW 2.8.1: >> After update to Firefox 22, ImportTiddlersPlugin and CoreTweaks cause a >> TypeError: netscape.security.PrivilegeManager is undefined. >> Disabeling the plugins makes import possible again. >> >> Okido >> >> >> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
