Hi all I would love it if a few of you could give the new version of braintags a test drive. http://www.giffmex.org/braintags.html
I got Eric Shulman to come up with a way: 1. to automatically create indexes by adding tags to notes, and 2. to automatically adding topics to the list of possible tags by creating indexes. So now no matter which level you begin with, notes or with topical indexes, you can easily move to the other level without having to manually input anything. This, combined with the many other features of braintags, makes it a doozy of a note-taking system, much more flexible than, say TagglyTagging. Dare I even suggest that? You guys can be the judges if it's true or not. We may need to tweak it a bit so that adding a systemConfig tag doesn't create a systemConfig index, etc, but if that possibility doesn't apply to you, feel free to start testing it out now. And we may need to tweak it if any of you spots something that doesn't work as it should. But I think it works fine. Any feedback you can give here to help improve the braintag experience would be appreciated. Please take a moment to read the tiddler "The advantages of using braintags" to get an idea of this quite upsidedown way of using TiddlyWiki.
