This sounds like it would be extremely hard to give much of any help advice with out actually being able to see it...
You may try importing small groups of your tiddlers into a new empty working TiddlyWiki saving each time until you find whatever is causing the issue. Focus on importing plugins, styling and scripted/complex macro tiddlers. Also don't forget to check your backup files if known good backups are having the same issue than it's probably browser or system related rather than TW related.
