Hi Lyall I've not come across the problem of the closing head tag and opening body tag being removed. Can you replicate that behaviour with a vanilla TiddlyWiki?
Annoyingly we can't disable left clicking on the download link. With respect to having stopped using TiddlyFox, it is still the recommended way to save TiddlyWiki files locally. What's preventing you from using it?
